It's great having an extra controller around, and even better when I don't need to buy an extra dongle.

I was able to force the driver onto my crappy $10 adapter, and I actually switch back and forth between the Microsoft stack for DualShock 4 usage and the Toshiba stack for Wii U Pro Controller usage (Toshiba doesn't work with DS4). For more info about the Toshiba Bluetooth stack, with download links and a guide for forcing the stack onto unsupported adapters, here's Dolphin's site on it. Got that? It sucks, yeah, but if you have a supported adapter - or buy one for $10, then you're in business. Also note that I haven't tried older Wiimotes, but I think they work with the Microsoft stack. The Toshiba Bluetooth stack can only be installed on certain supported Bluetooth adapters, although it can be forced onto some adapters through a somewhat complicated process. The Wii U Pro Controller and newer Wiimotes (Wiimote Plus) require the Toshiba Bluetooth stack as opposed to the default Microsoft Bluetooth stack. Not compatible with the Wii system or games. And once you have it connected and running through WiinUSoft, DON'T exit the program. That makes it easier to connect the controller to your PC. Look on the back of Wii U game packaging to see which games use the Wii U Pro Controller. If you don't have a Bluetooth adapter like the Mayflash adapter, I recommend installing the Toshiba Bluetooth Stack.

Now, here's the important thing, and why supported is capitalized in the thread title: As of 4.0-8325, all Wii Remotes work on the MS bluetooth stack on Windows 8, 8.1, and Windows 10 So uninstall the Toshiba Stack, use the latest dev builds, and follow our controllers guide and everything will work fine im trying to also connect the wiiU-pro controllers, witch need TS bluetooth stack. The Wii U Pro Controller can be used for playing a variety of games-from packaged games at retail to downloadable games from the Nintendo eShop. I can actually connect 4 PS3 controllers and 2 iPhones without a hitch. Everything works perfectly now with no disconnects.

I have a USB passthrough wall plate under my TV which I just plugged the adapter into and connected it to my computer on the other side with a USB cable. I haven't tried it with many games yet, but it worked flawlessly in Sonic All-Stars Racing Transmorfed, Resident Evil 6, and RetroArch. Reverting back to the newest Toshiba stack (v8) I decided to reposition the bluetooth adapter. Basically, you can play any 360-controller supported game with all the Wii/Wii U controllers if you have a supported Bluetooth adapter - and it supports rebinding buttons.
